The evidence for mindfulness...

Recent decades have seen an exponential boom in the number of well-funded, scientifically valid studies to assess the benefits and potential risks of practicing mindfulness in different settings and in different population groups. Overall, the most benefit has been seen in the management of stress, depression, anxiety and self-esteem. It has also shown large benefits for organisations, in terms of employee wellbeing and productivity. The science is finally catching up with ancient wisdom!
